Silver Wings Services (UK) Ltd was incorporated in 1988 by the founders Robert and Paul Middleditch. With over 30 accumulated years of experience in the industry, their mission was to create a cleaning company that could provide innovative cleaning methods to clients in the UK commercial cleaning market. 

 

Around the turn of the millennium the company decided to embrace a horizontal architecture rather than the cumbersome vertical structure of some of our competitors. This has allowed a free flow of information throughout the organisation. Our core competence of recruitment is now exploited and growth no longer requires strenuous restructuring. Our flat structure has allowed our wealth of experience and ‘learning by doing’ to pass through the company adding to our implicit knowledge pool. Customers now feel they have effortless contact with all levels of our organisation. Staff feel valued and their knowledge is harnessed, rather than lost.

 

From 2002 the decision to role out our services nationwide was taken. Although this decision was essentially client led it also provides an example of the genuine customer hypersensitivity of the Company.
